Seeing the rides in action, I think about how our lives are in constant motion and with variable focus. This blog is where I describe the sights, thoughts and experiences – real and imaginary - on our ride through life. I welcome you to join me.

This is how I think it may have started:

Before we know anything, it begins.

That is when we are dropped into our seats and buckled in for the ride.

We look around and notice that we are not alone - others ride along with us.

Some ride in groups large and small; others ride alone.

This is how I think the ride feels:

Up, we go.

We soar.

We dip.

We slice through the air.

We fly through clouds and into the sun.

As we ride, we become joined with others and travel along together.

We ride with some for a short time, and with others for the rest of our journey.

The journey is fun, it’s exciting, and it’s colorful.

It is a little scary.

Sometimes it is sad.

It Zigs.

It Zags.

We’re alone; yet we’re with others.

HEY! This is the ride of our lives.

What a ride.

How do you describe your ride?
