Blog – Have you ever been captivated by a work of art? I have. When I saw this photo, The Ride, I found my eyes moving about the scene. I saw people on a ride, I saw the mechanics of the ride, and then I saw the sky with clouds and a hovering bit of sunshine. Being familiar with rides like this at amusement parks and State Fairs, I felt I should know the trajectory. And yet, it told me more than what my eyes saw and my mind worked to add imagined details. The scene told me a story that my mind knew – for it is all about The Ride of Our Lives. Link
